International Women’s Hackathon 2014

The Hackathon is an event held on university campuses around the world. It isan exciting opportunity for women in computing and technology to network andcollaborate on Microsoft projects over three days. The event was simultaneouslybroadcasted by Skype between campuses around the world. Female computing andtechnology students with any level of programming experience were encouraged totake part. In this regard the invited four mentors helped students out with theprojects. IEEE Women in Engineering Student Group and Women in ICT at The University of Melbourne organized this event.
