This event aimed to give the group members the opportunity to network with other students from another university who share the same interest in studying engineering. Our guest speaker was an alumni who inspired attendees by her story of switching to the engineering field as a result of the advice from females studying ICT. She encouraged students in high school to study science and engineering. She also secured her job as a result of her network with other students in the University, which confirmed the importance of joining groups having similar interests and the effective networking.
