Our activities span across multiple levels, from graduates to high school students!

 

This program was organised for high school girls in year 9. The program is presented to the Melbourne Girls Grammar school who was pleased to accept it. We invited 20 of their best students in science to experience an engineering student’s life in the university.

We had a seminar of  The Amazing World of Engineering, focusing on Pioneer Women in Engineering,  Studying Engineering &  Lilypad for E-textiles. Then there was a hands-on  robotics workshop with Robogals team.  Lego NXT robots and Lego Mindstorm are used. The software is very user friendly and does not require any previous experience in programming. Sensors are introduced to students. Some of the sensors include, touch, ultrasound, and light sensor.
